First Presbyterian Church Wedding

As a wedding florist it is vitally important to be intimately familiar with all the wedding locations in the area.  I pride myself in knowing exactly what makes each location in Colorado Springs look the best and am able to advise my brides on tips and tricks to making their location look even better. One of my favorite churches in Colorado Springs is First Presbyterian Church.

Cobalt blue is a perfect wedding color for the First Presbyterian Church since it it looks wonderful with the impressive stain glass windows behind the alter.

Which leads me right into another tip when planning a wedding. When possible, always select colors that work well with the setting in which they will be used. This just makes everything easier and ensures you will get a cohesive, coordinated look. Below are some pictures of my friend and co-worker Carolyn Dekok’s wedding:

The bride’s bouquet of blue hydrangea and ivory roses in a cobalt blue vase.

These bridesmaid’s bouquets look stunning against their cobalt blue dresses.

Last, but never least,  are the flower girls. If you follow my blog you know how much I love working on flowers for the flower girls. Here is a picture of twin flower girls and a friend. They are so charming, it makes me miss the days when my girls were six years old.

I hope this tip has been helpful, and congratulations to these beautiful flowers girls- it doesn’t look like a single petal was left in the basket. Good job! Need some help selecting colors for your wedding? Give me a call, I’d love to visit with you and help you select colors that harmonize well with your wedding site.

Thanks for checking in.      Liz
