To bow or not to bow, that is the question.
Here is a preview of Mary Beth’s July 16 wedding at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Colorado Springs. Because Mary Beth’s bridesmaids are wearing black dresses. we wanted a lot of color in her flowers to establish the colors of the wedding. Hence I added these beautiful bows in sheer organza in multiple shade of lavender and purple. I know they will give the black dresses a beautiful “pop” of color while the sheer ribbon will blow in the breeze and create a lightness and shimmer to the look.
I’m looking forward to viewing the professional photography by Sheena Harper as my photography skills are limited.
In the mean time I thought you would enjoy this sneak peek into Mary Beth’s wedding.
Below is an arrangement for the place card table:
The copper brown leaf in the bridesmaids bouquets adds an interesting detail to this bouquet. The leaf is a copper bronze on the front side and a rich eggplant purple on the underside. I find that a small touch of green leaf often “pops” the colors.
I think fresh flowers are always more interesting than icing flowers on wedding cakes.
Please keep checking back for the professional pictures and to see how beautiful Mary Beth will look with her purple Colorado wedding.
