Here’s a preview of flowers I created for a bride who wanted a wildflower look for her Colorado wedding.
The ceremony site will be outside in the woods, surrounded by ponderosa pines, wildflowers and natural grasses.
The bow and stem wrap was done in raffia, a natural fiber that is both rustic and natural.
The bride’s flowers featured orange as the dominant color, while the bridesmaids had white and blue as their dominant color.
At the alter were two floral arrangements featuring a free flowing organic woodsy look with a generous helping of curly willow.
Please keep checking back. I’ll feature this wedding in a future blog when pictures from the professional photographer are available. I know you will enjoy seeing these flowers again and see for yourself how this bride’s vision of a natural, wildflower-themed, Colorado wedding came together.
I thought it was quite charming and kind of Shakespearean – I expected Puck to appear from behind a ponderosa pine at any moment! Well, maybe I’m getting a little carried away, but then again, that’s my job!
Warmly, Liz
