I love gold chargers for wedding floral centerpieces because of their versatility and upscale appearance. They make everything look expensive!
This is a composition rose, which is simply a rose taken apart and put back together to increase its size. Notice how the rose is about the size of a dinner plate. It’s simple to do and I think very showy.
Add some romantic lighting and candles for ambiance and you will have a special look that all your guests and the wait staff will comment on. (Like, “where did you find those monster roses? I didn’t know roses grew that big!”) I suggest you keep it your secret.
This picture is from a wedding I recently created at Hillside Gardens. The flowers are floating on just enough water to keep them hydrated and looking fresh the entire evening. The gold charger added a richness and elegance hard to duplicate for the price.
I hope these ideas have been helpful and look forward to seeing you back here again in the future for more wedding floral tips!
