It’s wedding season and I could not be more exuberant! By mid-October I’ll be running on fumes, but for now its pure bliss! I’m spending long days in my workshop and the left side of my brain is in complete charge. I’m always happiest when the design work starts!
I though you might enjoy a peek into a wedding I’m working on this week. The vision is to capture the colors and beauty of the evening sky right before sunset, which is also the time the outdoor ceremony begins.
The bride’s bouquet is in lavender/blues with some glow of orange. It will reflect the sun low in the sky as it slips into night.
The bridesmaid bouquets reverse this idea and their bouquets reflect the rosy apricot glow of sunset.
The boutonnieres and corsages become a variation on the theme.
